was a stone god worshipped by the Lapps, the northernmost people of Europe. Reindeer were sacrificed to Kied Kie Jubmel as late as the seventeenth century to ensure success in the hunt. He seems to have been regarded as 'lord of the herds'. Among the Swedes he was known as Storjunka, or 'Great Lord'.
